i just tried this on my m1000 - and ive got the no display problem on my lilliput....
ive tried it on a crt and 2 lcd panels in my house with no luck. when i boot the pc with the monitors plugged in, it turns the power on to the crt - not the lcd's, then displays no picture.... hmmmm.

i can get into the bios but cant see what im doing to change the settings like mpattonm said earlier.

anyone have any ideas, or know the exact key presses i have to do in order to set the bios correctly!!!

    thanks

EDIT: fixed it by clearing the cmos!!!

ok, so i fixed the problem i had earlier with a cmos clear.

just one more thing now, has anyone got 800x480 working with a lilliput using this bios, cos my lilliput claims 'over range' on the 2 800x480 modes included with this driver

    cheers

    Did you see mpattonm's comments?

He said of this BIOS/driver experiment: "This time you have to hook on desktop LCD and in the setup screen select "CRT", "640x480" and "PAL" to get the puicture on Lilliput. Well what do you know.. "

I had some trouble parsing that.

It sounded like he was trying to say "you need to select CRT instead of LCD (in the BIOS), set rez to 640X480, and PAL standard instead of NTSC in order to get a display on the Lilli".

Or maybe he meant to say "800X480" instead of "640X480" ?? If he was never able to switch it to 800X480, then WTF - that was the whole point of this exercise.

I also have no idea what he meant by "hook on desktop LCD"? Did he mean some LCD panel other than the Lilli?

mpattonm, could you please clarify your comments? Did you achieve 800X480 on your Lilli?

I will perhaps get a chance to play with this a bit tonight...

I have downloaded this but await further comments. I have already screwed up my bios settings once and had to reset them.

    Thanks for posting this
