I actually did a search to see if there was anyone that has shown or explained how to do this but I could not find any.
Thanks R3l0ad, but is it difficult to manage the input/output devices after the frame is off ? They are all connected trough the frame i think

perhaps u could use the tutorial on the digitalww website, they explain how to disassemble the lilliput 7in and fit the lcd panel into an in-dash housing...
I got my lilliput yesterday and within three hours had it in bits to see how my in dash install will go. Just remove the screws and it will come apart, unlatch the connectors and you can unscrew the screen housing. You can ditch the buttons and use the remote by removing the button pcb or extend the cable and relocate

Pin-out etc for Lilliput.
no write up eh?

If you have the Lilliput in front of you it is easy.
1.Turn the Lilliput on it's front side.
2.Locate the 4 screws (one in each corner) and remove with small philips
3.With the flathead or exacto knife (flat head will work better) pry open the case.
4.Disconnect the connector with only two pins (once your inside you will see what i mean)
5.Disconnect the smaller ribbon cable (it was easier to disconnect the end that was plugged into the seperate board that the LED's and buttons are on)
6.Disconnect the larger ribbon cable
Disconnect the 4 pin connector
7.If you are taking the whole thing out completly (not just the front bezel) you must take a dremel tool with cutting bit to the back plastic housing to freen the vga cable. This is a delicate procedure becasue you dont want to damage the cable with the dremel
8.Disconnect the black/red wires to the speaker and pry from housing
Remeber where everything goes. and when you plug the small ribbon cable back in make sure you get it in there right or else the unit wont power on (i experienced that last night)
