So recently after some people just left (without letting my dad know) our rental house, my dad found some stuff he thought I might like. Out of the whole deal we got a few DVD-players, decent TV, and a a pair of konig rims. But the most important thing I found was this:
Panasonic CY-VMD9000U 7in LCD
But the only bad part was it didn't have the "brain" to it, the Panasonic CA-TU7000U. After finding one online and awaiting delivery of it I decided to add it to my carputer system. Now right now I'm using a Pyramid 7in TFT LCD (RCA) which works decent, but I'm wondering if this new LCD will work any better?
Also, what kind of adapters do you think I will need for this unit? I read in a different thread it uses RGB, but I'm not as familiar with it.
Here's a link to a somewhat full specification of the unit
But, I do think that the "brain" of it is more of what holds the audio/video inputs and outputs. So this link of the "brain" might be better:
Mostly the same info.
Any help on what kind of adapters I need to make this work with my Asus Radeon 9200SE (VGA/S-Video/RCA outputs) would be great! Also if you know of an issue with having the DVD/LCD unit and then getting a different "brain" unit that wasn't originally produced for it would be great (such as security, etc.)!!
Um, did you check to see if the stuff was stolen?
Does it matter?Originally Posted by Cherub211
Probably to whoever it was stolen from, yes.Originally Posted by EBoundEE
Ok, well I have no idea if it was stolen, they probably just left it because the LCD doesn't roll out smoothly, but can easily be fixed. I'm still wondering about my original question, so any help there?Originally Posted by ukchris
