check the fuses
I finally got around to turning on my new Lilliput from electronicar and it looked great for about 20 mins then the power went out and it doesnt work with the cigarette lighter adapter either. Please if anyone knows what I could do to fix it that would be great.
check the fuses
I've been searching the posts and I can't find anything pertaining to this. If anybody knows anything I would really appreciate it.
that's what I was thinking but I don't know where the fuses on the unit are.
Sounds like mine, had a loose wire in the main white connector. Carefully wiggle & push the wires up into the white plug, see if the screen will flicker or turn on. One wire looked like it was never soldered & came loose. I didn't see any fuse in mine when I had it apart.
Mine just has a single barrel connector on it. there is no wires to push up into it. I have the 8" TS. It was fine one minute and then the next it just shut off and won't come on with either of the adapter that came with it. I wonder if Electronicar will exchange it for me (seeing I only had it for 2 weeks and actually only used it for literally 2-3mins)or are they going to be jerks and make me go through all the red tape crap with Lilliput.
I have the 8" TS from electronicar also, the connector I had problems with is the main one at the bottom of the screen, looks a little like a DVI connector. Other than that it's worked great.
That connector is a real problem, mine had a loose wire but its now traced and resoldered.
Don't mean to hijack, but that biodiesel, is that the homebrew stuff?
