    Screensaver vs Power down of LCD?

    During my day to day commute, I won't have much a need for the GPS other than the wow/cool factor. I will mainly use it for MP3s. So which is better for the screen: Keeping it on all the time with a screen saver, or just powering it down via energy saver?
