    OK...Call Me Cheap..:P

So im looking into what touch screen to buy at the moment...and i was thinking is it possible to buy a thin film that sticks over a LCD screen and acts as a touch pad? Its prob easier to just buy a touch screen but hey.

    Seperation

Might have another buyer on the wagon. Quick question though, how is the monitor mounted to the computer chassi? Because I would want to fabricate my own mounting system either from a raised fiberglass or motor controlled lifting unit, and as such I would mount the monitor seperate from the motherboard. Would you mind listing the driver/brand specifics for the touchscreen controller? I am a big fan of linux, and if I can find/build driver support for linux I'd be alot happier Thanks for the time
