Oh no, my Lilliput is kaput.

Oh no, my Lilliput is kaput.

A strange thing happened to my Lilliput yesterday, for no reason it the touch screen started acting strange, it wouldn’t react to movement at all on the right side. It is impossible to calibrate now as well. Below you can see that the calibration lines are WAY off what it is supposed to be.

I got the screen of ebay 1.5 weeks ago but I really haven’t used the screen that much, but I am pretty sure it worked fine in the beginning.
(I just tested it that it worked when I got it)

This is right after a 25 points callibration, and as you can see there is something VERY wrong with my screen

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem ? Any experience with this company on how quickly they can replace my screen etc..

Update 1: I called Hong Kong today and they told me to send the screen back to them and I will receive a new one straight away.
A+++ For customer support so far. They were verry helpfull and nice on the phone.

    Thanks very much

    Lilliput Board Size

    Hello,

Would anyone know what the exact measurments of the Lilliput Touch Screen are? I am only interested in the size of the circuit board and actual display as I have another housing that I would like to place it in. anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi all,
My lilliput has just developed the exact same fault as the first post with the same lines. I first noticed the cursor on the middle right side was a little out so I calibrated it and was then even worse.

Anyone any ideas how I can fix it? I don't have the receipt to send it back.
It was the coldest night yet last night of -2 and my screen was in the car, think this could be the cause? It also doesn't look as bright as normal.

Why don't you ask this in your own thread?

Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Mine did that also, about 2 hours before it quit recognising the touchscreen altogether. Send it to DigitalWW and have Armen install a aftermarket touchscreen. The Lilliput touchscreens are crap. Sorry, no easy fix...I am sure you are in the same boat I was.
