Sorry for the late reply, I haven't looked at this thread for a while...

I got my lilliput from ebay... shipped out of Hong Kong... arrived in about 3-4 days... Bottom line? it rocks

I did get the touchscreen addon as well - which works as advertised. I find that I have to use a fingernail for it to track my movements properly, but that's to be expected...

All up including touch screen and delivery cost me $388AUD... now I'm onto working on getting the audio back in the car - as the lilliput is taking the place of my old head unit... Will take photos sooner or later...

Hey I have a problem. THis mod works great for me except in two conditions. 1 if i turn on my car, then have it on for like 5 minutes, turn it off, turn it on again and nothing from the screen. Also, when i park my car for the week in the schools garage, i go out to it the following friday, and the screen wont self power. It seems to work fine other than that, like overnight stays, if i go into a store, etc... just not short or long intervals.

Isent it easier to shortcircuit the poweron button and connect the 12v powercable to atx power???? Im new to this but have lots of mainstream knowledge.... Sinse I only want to power on my lilliput when my pc is on this would be an easier solution....

Any one with skillz...... Does this work or will i damage the screen???

Thats the route I went with. I was afraid I would screw up the board. Very tiny solder connections.

    Yeh this should work fine.
Personally I am using the 12v regulator that came with the lilliput. When the PC turns on it powers a relay switch which turns both my amps on, turns my EQ on (all via the remote wire) and powers my screen up. I found it safer this way, just in-case.

I've been using this same technique for 16 months.. it works a treat and everything comes one and goes off when you turn the pc on/off
