removing backlight on lilliput help

Hello,
I was wondering if there was any info or if anybody has a documentation on how to remove the backlight on a lilliput 7" lcd? I already looked at some wrx link and a couple of others but they don't go as far as doing what i want to do...I'v also done a web search and no luck...

I know people have made LCD proj from Lilliputs, (see Ace's proj), maybe they know?
