I know there have been lots of lilliput questions but

a search didnt turn this one up - okay,
I installed my lilliput in dash - and to do so had to take it apart and put it back together many times. One of the times the ribbon cable going tot eh buttons came out, and after slaving for too long i got it back in.

I then got everything in the car, but now (after about 2 weeks in the car), the screen sometimes wont turn on, during which times the little LED is not lit at all (not red or green). the Touchscreen still works, and the power to the screen is fine.......then after a few minutes it comes up with the red LED and i can turn the screen on.....then it turns off again...etc....

any ideas? any advice on that ribbon cable? I think coyote's post about auto on lilliput has a pic of the connection i am talking about. Any other ideas than a loose connection?

    Thanks

yeah be carefule to make sure you line up the pins in the connector with the pads on the ribbon cable ... it sits in the socket more to the left than it does to the center.

and you shouldn't have to struggle too hard to get it in .. you know the upper half of the socket slides up, then you can slide the cable in and clamp the socket down ... right?
