Removing Lilliput when leaving the car...possible?

    Hi,
I'm thinking about building myself a carputer and i think a VGA touchscreen will be very important, i'm going to be fitting it somthing like the pics below. The screen i'm going to be buying can be found HERE! , its from a UK seller based in london and i'm hoping i will be able to collect the screen from him and miss paying any postage fees. This is also great if there any problems as its only a short drive away, unlike hong kong. My question is if i glued the automotive bracket into the vents how easy would it be to remove the screen every time i leave the car?

I'm a definate noob to the carputer idea so any help would be great, i've read about alot of problems with these screen but as the seller is in London i don't think i'll have much of a problem. *fingers crossed*

    Thanks alot,
    The Kevster

Junk the supplied mount and pop down to Jessops - the screen has a standard quarter-inch (tripod) theaded hole at the bottom, Jessops sell a quick release mount for generic tripod types (about £8) make a bracket for this and you have a nice easy to use removable mount.

You still have to unplug two cables though?

Why not just get one that folds in to a case?

I am a bit, but I've been trying to think of some sort of quick release bracket/connection myself, something like a old mobile phone holder maybe, that would hold it and connect it in one go??
