Obviously have also different problems with digitalww.
I ordered my display on March - 02, was supplied it one week later.
Communicated to Armen ones more frequently in this time !
One Week later my display was wrong and i send it back to ditgitalww.
On April - 05 i mail to Armen and he answer, the Display has arrived, but he has no looked at it....
Since I wait for further answer, what it is going on and when I get my display again...
If I do not keep my display functional until 29 April, the business for me is settled and digtalww no money gets. I can buy also elsewhere...

I know english is not your native language and I'm usually quite good at figuring out 'foreign english' but I'm seriously lost here.

I try it again:
I ordered my display on March 02. Then i get it one week later.
Very fine - in this time Communicat Armen an i more frequently with one another.

Then, my Display do not work (the VGA-Input do not work).
On March 22 i send it to digitalww ...
On April 05 i get a mail from Armen, that my Display have arrived digitalww.
Since I wait for further answer, how is the status and when they will send my display to me.
If I do not receive my display until April 29, the purchase for me is cancelled ...
Digitalww get no mony from me - I buy elsewhere.

If I read here that also different problems have, i know, i am not alone....
Nevertheless, 400$ with expenses are not peanuts!

I apologize for my bad Englsich - however I give me strive... Their it could make somewhat easier for me and communicate we into German

Oliver, dont worry about your english, its better than most can do in other languages! Hope you hear from Armen and get it sorted soon!

Well I am three sheets into the wind, so I will say it....

DigitalWW is a waste of your time and money..... As some in this thread have mentioned.... customer support is VERY important.... this company does not provide customer support with any certainty.... Sometimes it is there, sometimes it is not.

Word of mouth is all most of us have to go on in this niche market.... there is no HP or Microsoft in the Car PC market... we have to deal with garage shop operations for the most part (or ourselves, like I do when I can) ... So I for one am VERY glad these experiences are posted.... And as somebodyelse mentioned above.. this is not the first time this same string of comments have been raised about DigitalWW... and I can bet you it won't be the last... do you want to be the next person starting a "Where the hell are your DigitalWW????" thread.....

So far I have spent way to much money on my Car PC's (currently designing and building the second), and most all of my purchases have been based on advice and comments from the members of this forum.... I read them all but tend to hear the ones from the heart better.... The wouses that say "Well Armen is busy, he has a baby and is moving and is blah, blah, blah..." don't really do much for me... The ones that say... "I sent $300 two months ago and haven't even got an email...." or the ones that say "I had to send back my .... and am still waiting on word of it...." effect me more....

I think the most insightfull comment in this topic so far was from arkadiyp and said:

How the hell is busy an excuse?!? If you are too busy to run a business don't run it, plain and simple. If you cannot fulfill an order don't take it. It is very easy to make an excuse for someone, it is rather hard to run a reputable business.

Let the flames begin, but first I ask you actually present a valid arguement against what I just stated....

I for one was going to buy from Armen until I saw all the posts about his crap customer service. I mean.. if the guy can't commit to even replying to his e-mails from PAYING CUSTOMERS!? I also took issue with the fact that there always seemed to be endless excuses as to why everything seems to take weeks longer than what was promised. I also don't understand why everyone gets their kneepads on when it comes to defending him. The guy has a longstanding reputation for ignoring and neglecting his customers, period.

I ordered a couple of items from Armen last week, initial contact was great, after I payed the money communication disappeared for 4 - 5 days, last night I got a PM from Armen apologising for the lack of response and news on my order.
From what I have heard about Armen he is a very reliable and trustworthy guy, I have no doubts I will get my items. However, I also believe that communication must be of high priority with the customer. No matter how good natured or trustworthy someone is, how am I supposed to know this if he doesnt talk to me?
I really dont want to sour relationships between myself and Armen or others and Armen, but the communication issues must be resolved, I dont think "i am busy" is a good enough excuse as it only takes 30 mins per day to reply to emails/pms. I myself am running a business at it sometimes takes me up to an hour to reply to emails but I know if i dont do it today then tomorrow I will have up to 2 hours worth or replying to do.

Armen is a good guy. If you have an issue email him and he will take care of it. He's been around here for years, no need to worry.
