Question Can this LCD Be Used??

    Hey all!

Over the past couple weeks i've been browsing this forums and i've been convinced

So now it's my turn to make a carputer. I've been searching ebay for lcd's and there are so many its not funny. But being a student i dont have very much $$$, so i had to search ebay for the lowest costing lilliput lcd.

I stumbled across this lcdhttp://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....ayphotohosting, but i don't know Whether it is suitable for a standed carputer set up . All i would use this lcd for is mp3 playing, divx, dvd and have a wireless network in it so i can access the internet from certain wireless access points.

Please post your opionions and Whether not this lcd is compatable for a carputer setup.

    Thanks.
    Daniel

This would be ok for MP3s and movies but text and finer stuff would be fuzzy as this monitor is not VGA. Webpages and email would be hard to read.

    Hey,
I feel for you being a student and all <<< was one once! But your really best saving your dosh and waiting just that bit longer (i know its hard!) and getting a vga screen, because if you get a non-vga one, youll fit it, see how crap the text is on it and then start thinking "damn why didnt i get the vga one", the really are sooo much better than composite ones.

Hey I would hope they would be a bit cheaper than that, you can get a 15" LCD for $450 AUS dollars so I would rather spend 150 more and get alot larger screen if that was the case, hey I dont mind tring to find a place in my car for such a large screen... hmm :\
