    Lilliput wireing??

    Hi, i want to cut the lighter plug off and wire the lcd directly. There ia a solid black wire and one with a stripe. Which wire is the positive and negative?

    look for somewhere with - --( o ----- + then center of the plug usually denotes positive along with teh marked wire (white in yourcase)
    And the outside is usually negative with the unmarked wire.

    But use a multimeter to check.
    Mine needs to be updated.

    I wouldn't suggest cutting on the plug end unless you have some sort of regulated supply you're hooking up to(such as an Opus). If you're going to plug straight into vehicle power, dissassemble the cigarette lighter plug thing and use the electronics in it.
