Less than VGA quality and that will make text hard to read.
noob here...i'm interested in this monitor since it has an optional RGB input which I take it is better than composite. BTW can somebody explain in layman's term what exactly is an RGB input..does it produce a better or about the same quality as a VGA input...would this montiro work well for GPS purposes when it comes to the text being readable and all:
full detailed spec of the item is here:

I don't need it to have touchscreen capabilities so 'm not gearing towards lilliput and xenarc screens plus the screen above fits my budget better![]()
thanks

how far off is RGB input from VGA input as far as text readability is concerned..or to put it in perspective, rate an RGB input from a scale of 1-10 when in comes to text qualityOriginally Posted by sfay93

I would say a 5. It isn't completely unreadable. You can strain and read it but VGA is much clearer. Not what I want to be doing driving down the street. Street names in a GPS app will be very hard to read. Video will be ok. Most games will be fine. It just isn't as clear. In my opinion it is worth the wait to save up the money and get the VGA.
