Tft vga lcd display

I have read a lot of topics about lcd displays, and the more I read, the more I get confused.
I just don't know what lcd brand to buy anymore...

First I was thinking of buing the digitalww indash vga but it have only 250nits and the indash housing is not the best quality. (I've read it in some topic)
Then it was Xenarc but the brightness of the display was not as good as Lilliput.
Then it was Lilliput but I've read that many people have problems with them.
And Now I'm thinking of getting Starvision

Havn't read anything bad/good about it yet, but I'm sure there is something with this lcd too

I'm totally lost

BTW. You guys which have the lcd molded into the dash, what about theft?
The thives probably know that it's stupid to steal a lcd that's molded into the dash, or?

WOW that is not a good deal you can spend only $30 and have touch screen. Y would you buy an lcd with out Y wast your money look at this it is ony like $30 more.
Go to ebay you can get the LCD CHEAP BRAND NEW,

Ummm, who said anything about with or without touchscreen? the link I sent was to describe how the new screen is being waited for by quite a few members.

If you want a lilly, go ahead and buy from eBay, but if you want to wait and see if the new screen is better, wait. Simple

I am sorry I was replying to Sharx the link he put on the thread leads to a non touch screen. I would like to see the new lcd by starvision. I live in riverside I emailed him but he has not recived any lcds that I can see and hold yet.
I am interested in the new lcd, If they are what they say I would like to buy one.

Have read that the touch screens are a little bit darker.

Depending on the screen, only slightly dimmer, and sometimes a little fuzzier.

I fitted a 10.4" TFT with one of Armin's Touch screen kits. the screen is a 250nit.

In direct sun it was a little difficult to see with the kit on top, but under normal daylight conditions it was fine, and at night it was bloody bright.

And they were on a normal overcast UK day.
