So there you have it. A HUGE screen at a decent price and works great. ;-)
I just purchased one of these and so far, I love it but, do you know how to make this thing auto power on? I've tried all the suggestions with the 588998 entry and so far, no luck accessing 'the other' menu.

    Thanks in advance

I have the same monitor of W3bMa5t3r the 10.4.

    I can help with that:

It need 0.82A (Tested it, never use more A), but I'm sure it need some other elettricity by USB. In stamby use 0.36A

my monitor don't work if is not plugged also with usb, I I think it use more corrent than usual becouse my compucar of 12v, don't give him enough through it.

It work only if I connect USB to an other computer.

    Bye

I purchased this type of cable however my lcd could not get a signal. looking at the LCD cables I noticed that they are 10 pin. Does that mean that one pin is not used or do i need to get a 10 pin min din cable?

Note, this is contradictory to what the specs say as they rate it with a wider verticle viewing angle than it actually has. Hopefully this will save someone else time and money by not choosing the wrong screen for their application.
I just received my 10.4" LCD and I see the unviewable angles. Mine does not work at 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz, so I am stuck to run it at 800 x 600. Any how, has anyone ever tried installing the LCD upside down, and through software/windows, rotate the screen 180* to get more viewing angle out of the screen? I do not know if this will effect graphic performance or not. Any thoughts?

I tried that. It's better, but you loose some contrast. The black areas look a little more grayish.

If your vid card has an option to flip the image it should perform the same. It doesn't take more power to run it upside down.

    Proper refresh rate for 629/619

found out after much anguish that you have to have xp running at 75 or less refresh rate in your diplay/monitor properties for the lilliput 629 to post windows display.

(if you see your bios start up but windows is blank, then you probably have to change refresh down)

my specs were........ xp pro service pack 2 on an old tnt2 video card.

the 619 should need the same thing as the 629. 75 or less refresh rate.

at 85, my lilliput would not post windows. if you go too low, you might get flickering.

For any Linux users, egalax has released a new X driver which is far superior to the evtouch one (even has a control applet which is a copy of the windows one )
