Anti-Glare solution found?

I have a cracked one, so will go and see..

the ts is made up of a piece of glass, then the touchscreen foil, this is what you tap, so you cant remove it :-(

Too bad, the overlay film is an integral part of a resistive touchscreen. It is coated with conductive resistive stuff, just like the glass substrate.

Would be a good hint for TS manufacturers though, if they could just coat this kind of film instead if normal plastics...

well the local place doesn't resell them. I called up autotype and they are sending me a 5-pack sample to my work. I'll let you guys know how it goes. They said they sell them in rolls and sheets in packs of 100. I'll see how it goes and post the results

it would be a easy fit, fingers crossed.. It would be nice if lilliput used a better touchscreen, this would make the unit brighter and less reflective.. I know I would pay an extra $100 for this. Would be worth it in the end.. not saying the lilliput is crap, I think its awesome just a shame about the TS

I just emailed with a samples request using my work address. We are medical product R&D and manufactures so it shouldn't be a problem.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to affix this to the touchscreen and does anybody know if the touchscreen will work with this film on it?

i'm just waiting for someone to try it out...but yeah i dont think the sheets of 100 are expensive, we could probably all go in together and share them

Cdrskull, can the touch layer be removed? If so, maybe we can just coat this new film with a conductive layer and try it out...

I'm am always up for new projects that no one likes to try...
