I dont get what you want to do.
here is some Cable (no connectors) from Maplin
You could try looking at Farnel or RadioShack
all i wanna do is connect my lilliupt to my laptop.
I thought instead of running 2 cables (a standard vga ext & a usb) i would try and get hold of one these 9 pin extension leads available in the US, however as you guys are excellant at making cables etc and i'm not i think i will just get my self a standards vga ext and usb ext...(unless theres another way?)
pc in boot + screen in dash = cable not long enough
does anyone know a way to extend the cable that does not make the picture turn into casper the unfriendly 'ghost'?
If you want the best signal quality, you should unsolder the 9 pin cable and solder on high quality SVGA and USB extensions in their place. While you're in there, you might as well remove the faux USB connector and solder composite video (and audio if you need it) and power cables directly to the board. To keep your solder joints from breaking, coat the solder joints in hot glue and then ZipTie the cables to the circuit board.
where can i get a 9 pin cable to extend the lilliput cord 15 ft??
Thanks!
Man that USB connector on the lilliput is really loose anyone else notice this?![]()
