    Yes, a Keycorp Screen.

10" Keycorp LCD screen with ISA driver card.
I got it coz it was cheap. NZ$70 and usually a 5.6" nonvga screen here goes for over $300.
Video is not an issue (yet) so this will do for a while.
Yea i knw- i should have got a lilliput but resources are an issue

The funny thing is..... i can show a 800x600 display on the screen but the mouse is limited to a 600x480 area!!!! any more than that and the screen "scrolls"

Is this something to do with the drivers or what?
Im running it on win98, and using the drivers that came with it.

Ive done a for it but cant find anyone with this problem. Going to try new drivers tonite.

I don't get it. You've got it set to 800x600, and it displays 800x600? But then it also scrolls? What is it scrolling to (what does the scrolling reveal)? If you are already displaying all 800x600 pixels, how can it scroll? Maybe you are set at 1024x768, and it is scrolling to display that?

I have had this exact issue on Laptops before. You can set the screen size to 800x600 but it doesnt re-fit that 800x600 into the whole area..instead it scrolls. I found it is a bios deal, i was able to fix it on one laptop, but not on my other. I had to simply set the thing back to 600x480. Maybe a driver will help in your case but in mine it has not.

can the screen physically display 800*600?

when I saw that on a laptop, the screen was displaying 800*600 and the configuration was to a 1024*768 scroling area - the screen couldn't do any better so the driver used it that way.

Check for other drivers, but also look at the specs of the screen before fooling around

I've had one of those screens, the actual pixel resolution of the screen is 640x480 so that is all it can show, the driver will allow you to set 800x600 res but as there are only 640x480 pixels it has to scroll around to show you the rest. just set it to 640x480.......
....Yes, I know it has a stupid name, those crazy Japanese!

No. It DISPLAYS 800x600 Fine. I can see the clock in the bottom right, and my computer in the top left. At the same time.
But - the mouse is restricted to 640x480!
So if you move the mouse to the far right, the mouse stays at the 640x400 boundary, the edge of the screen moves over, and the first row of icons + the start button appear on the right!!

Running at 640x480, has a bigass black border around the whole thing, roughly 1" wide.
i.e it displays an area 640x480 in the middle of the 800x600 lcd screen.

Argh. Just found out why the card's manual says not to run the "linear" mode. Screen wont show anything in windows, and you can't set it back. (lucky i have an ghost image of win98) *Phew*.

Going to try next set of drivers tonite.
Will also try for a photo.
