how to force screen resolution??

I'm trying to get a vga - ntsc converter working and i need my laptops display to be in 640x480 resloution but the lowest i can put it is 800x600

is there any prgrams that can force the resolutuon? or anyway to do it thru windows

Try right clicking on the desktop, choose properties->settings->advanced->adapter->list all modes and select 640x480.

If that doesn't work, try PowerStrip
