This is simply a PDA/tablet. It's basically useless and i see it retails for about 1000$.
Forgot to ask: do you want to use the whole thing or rip the LCD out of it? Since even then it probably won't work as the whole thing is integrated.
has anybody used this product
it is a wireless 10 " cpu monitor

using 802.11 b you can control the computer its like using a regular monitor and pcconnections has it for 449.this is the description of the monitor .
The ViewSonic 10.4" airpanel V110p Wireless Smart Display is all about freedom. The truly portable 10" airpanel V110p works as an extension of your PC. You can view your computer desktop, just as though you were in front of your monitor and you can create and edit documents as if you were sitting at your desk without sacrificing storage space or functionality.
Via the airpanel's 802.11b wireless technology, remotely access files, applications and data from any room in your home. With a fast 3-second boot up, you can quickly access e-mail or check the weather with a touch of the screen. Plus, access personal information and services and view and edit images or photos. Easy to use, you can navigate and enter data using only a stylus with the touch-sensitive screen. The 10" display's colors are vivid and the text is crisp with thanks to its 800 x 600 resolution, keeping your images clear.
I just got an AirPanel and although I will not be using it in a car it certainly has interesting possibilities. It is basically a WindowsCE machine with a touchscreen and integrated 802.11b wireless. You can use it to connect to a specifically configured XP desktop PC or use it as an RDP Terminal Services client to any machine running terminal services.
I connect to my home XP PC and also corporate terminal services machines.
I paid about $450, it has a 15" 1024x768 touchscreen and also comes with a pretty neat usb mini-keyboard. It could be interesting to have a PC in the back with a wireless card and control it using an AirPanel in the front of the car. The one I have is probably too big, they also do an 800x600 one though which could be more workable.
I haven't checked but it appears there are options to either play the sound through the panel (via wireless, probably not great) or to have the audio actually play on the PC being controlled which could give better quality.
Chris.
