needs to be DC dont it for the screen ??
or maybe not im sure it is though
Hi,
All this talk about people frying their lilliputs has got me worked up, especially since Im certainly no electrical engineer and really dont have much of a clue.
So I want to make sure: can I use any 12 Volt AC Adaptor (with the right plug for the screen, ofcourse) to power a 7-inch lilliput (the regular, touch-screen model everyone got)?
I got one here, for instance, that has some stuff written on it:
INPUT: 230V - 50Hz
OUTPUT: 12V-MAX 12VA
Could I use that one?
Thanks,
Daniel

I dont think so, since the package shipped with the lilliput comes with a:
"240~100AC Adapter"
But as I said, I dont have much of a clue![]()
Lilliput accepts 12V DC input. Your adapter will output this so it will be fine.
Edit: U sure it says max: 12VA? hmm maybe, then it can handle 12W or 1A at 12v. The adapter that coems with the lilliput handles up to 1.2A, u should probably get away with it though.

12V @1amp (1000mAH) will do just fine.![]()
