Thanks for the quick help guys...
I cannot use a different graphics card in my current PC, as it has a built in 32mb G/fix card...
I did buy a new computer to use in my car, but before i even thought about planning the install, i had a power serge in my house, which fried my m/b, processor, and other bits and bobs...so i ended up using the majority of that PC in my home PC.
I had a Nvidia twin-view g/fix card a couple of years ago, and that worked very well for years (but i think i only tried the twinview facility on the odd occasion), so i presume thats the same thing...
Another quick question regarding eCar's comments, how can you run 2 VGA cards from the same PC?
I can understand using 1 VGA card with 2 outputs, and video out on the PCI TV card...which is also an option i could consider...but is it possible to run 2 VGA cards?
My plans were based around running a maximum of 2 screens, but if i could have 3, that would be my perfect setup...
1 - ?" Widescreen for Digital clocks (MPH, RPM, Fuel etc...)
2 - 7"Lilliput touchscreen for control, and driver viewing (GPS, Music Vids, Movies etc)
3 - 15" TFT passenger screen (Music Vids, Movies etc)
Thanks again for all the responses

Obviously you can't have two AGP cards, since a mobo has only one AGP slot.
But one AGP and one PCI card like I have (my GF4MX440 is a PCI card), or 2 PCI cards will work.
And no, you probably can't use the onboard graphics and a graphics card at the same time. But you should be able to disable the onboard graphics, and use a card alone.
I realised that, but thought there may be some bit of hardware out there that split 1 AGP slot into 2 (like the PCI cards you can get)Originally Posted by eCar™
The PC i was using was a small form factor office based PC, and doesnt have an AGP slot, it has worked well for me for a good few months as it was a 1.2ghz with 256mb RAM, but i will have to go for the new PC option to get what a need...Originally Posted by eCar™
Don't think i will go for a PCI g/fix card though as all the ones i can find are either rubbish or far too expensive
I think i will stick with the 3 screens though, and get a Nvidia g/fix card with dual view, and a VGA splitter...
This way i will be able to show my cars gauges on my one screen, and then output the movie/video to the other 2 screens via a VGA splitter, and control it with my touchscreen...
I would be greatful if anyone can point out any flaws in my master plan

Edit:
Just searching around for some more bits and i came across this, it has very high reviews, and for the money it looks good value...has anyone come across this card? (I think its made by Leadtek)

Right now I'm using an ATI card with a nvidia card. No big deal here. Just make sure you use the latest drivers.

Which cards do you have? Which one is AGP? Did you install the AGP first, or PCI first?
I have a theory that computers can somehow sense fear. And that they somehow get off on screwing with the timid.
I just blindly throw components in my rig, without reading directions or anything. I rarely cause myself problems.
Whereas others will research to no end. Ask for help on as many BBs that they know of. All before removing the shrink wrap from their new component. These people seem to have the most trouble in the end.
I picked up a matrox G450 on ebay for $18 and $10 for shipping!
My first G450 cost $180 a few years back.
There are alot of ways to go dual monitor, but i would stick with a dual AGP card. Thats the safest way to avoid incompatibilities with any of your software.
