Why not find another home for your head-unit? For example, in my install, the headunit's in my armrest. Not sure what the inside of new Fezzy's is like, but there should be somewhere. Glovebox? Under dash?

Car changed for TVR Griffith 500, so computer de-installed. Using a Dension 100ix w/60Gb HD unit in the interim.

Actually it looks like a 1.5 DIN, I don't think there is room for an in dash housing. Try RAM mounts:

    I got mine here:

Look at my install in "show off your project". I'd like to mount a powermate griffin instead of the ash tray

I'm trying to get a screen for the Fiesta atm.

The space is about double DIN size (well I've heard you can just about squeeze two HUs in there.

I would want the screen to fill the whole space as in this picture:

Though I can't find a screen which will fit straight in- they're all either too wide or long.

So not really sure what to do- couldn't fiberglass it for example.

Anyone know of a screen which will fit into a double din space- the closest I've come is this: with the dimensions:
    179W x 128H x 27D mm

So was gonna see how it looked if i stuck it just on the inside.

    Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

There you go matey, they also sell the kit through mp3car store but there's better photos on that site.

Have you been on www.digital-car.co.uk ? It's UK based and I there is at least one fiesta with a flushed screen in dash in the installs section (Not sure if it is your shape though)
