I posted this yesterday, but cannot find the thread, perhaps the mods deleted it.
I'm buying a lilliput 7" VGA TS and I'm concerned about customer service if there is a problem (which seems likely)?
I know digitalww.com has it for $325 w/ free shipping. And I've Armen is very helpful.
On the otherhand, ebay has it for around 285-2900 (w/shipping). Anyone have any ebay sellers they recommend (for customer service)? electronicar?
I'm trying to determine whether it is worth spending $35 USD extra for the peace of mind of dealing wiht Armen at digitalww.com.

I think that I can assume that that the mp3car store will be very resonsive to problems with the lilliput. Can you all agree?
dodgetimes2 - I've not as worried about ebayers not sending me the item. I'm concerned about resolving problems with the lilliput once I receive it. Did you have any problems with the screen that wifibuys resolved? Thanks.

I've had it since February with no problems. Although I must mention that it's still sitting on my desk, haven't had it in a mobile environment yet.

I would highly recommend getting it from MP3CAR, lilliputs have a high chance of arriving with dud touchscreens. If you get a bad one you'll have an easier time getting it replaced.
thanks. I just needed extra encouragement before dropping $300 bucks and finally making the full commitment to a carputer. As you can see by my join date, I've been putting this off for almost five years.
Explanation: Got a Neo35 (too boring)..then i moved to nyc and stopped driving for 2 years.

I just ordered one from MP3car store, 299 USD shipped.
I'm freakin psyched.
*nods* I bought mine off ebay for $405, but that was also with the in-dash non-motorized fold out and already mounted in the casing. no problems and been completely running it in the car.
