I went into the display settings and chose list all modes under the advanced tab. I then selected 800x600@75hz.
Works for me.
Ok, I'm pulling my hair out. For some reason I can't do anything with my M1000's onboard graphics to get it to display correctly on my Xenarc 700tsv. I've tried just about every resolution and played with my dpi settings, but all I can get is an image that leaves black bars, an image that overflows the screen, or no image at all so I have to reboot. FYI, I have the refresh rate set at 60hz. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
***EDIT***
I should also mention that I am using the latest s3 unichrome drivers posted on viaarena

Under list all modes, all my resolutions are listed at 60hz. I tried selecting and enabling from there using 800x600@60hz and after applying my monitor blacked out again.
Go into your bios setup and look around (I can't remember where it is at but I think its in integrated peripherals) and make sure that you have CRT + LCD selected or just LCD. That may help with the display problem.Originally Posted by Mears
Ok, so don't dl the unichrome drivers for cle266 at via arena. I dl'd a driver that feb posted in some other post and it allowed me to set it at 800x600@75hz which works. However, it still doesn't work at 800x600@60hz which is confusing to me.
