i have a vga run of 25 feet with no noticable signal loss.. if you use good shielded cable and not the cheap crap.. then you will be ok
Trieding (Love that smiley!) but got all sorts of erroneous results.
Is it OK for a VGA cable to run from the boot to the dash? Won't the picture end up distorded/degraded? Or would it have to be in something like a limo for this to be a worry?![]()

Mine is about 12 to 13Ft from the boot to the center console. No issues.
just get a good quality cable and keep it away from other wires, especially the power line to your amp/pc
i have found the cables at www.l-com.com to be 1st rate
Where did you get it and how much?Originally Posted by hijinks21

Kenwood Excelon 790 HU, VIA C7 + M2-ATX, Xenarc 700TSV, and 5 discreetly installed amps.
there are places that sell just cables and they have 50 feet vga cables i've seen.
