Bought an 8.4" Sharp LQ9D161 LCD panel from DennisK off of eBay a while ago for something like $60, then later bought the $285 VGA controller. Long story short, I had the polarity wrong and zapped everything. I managed to get the VGA controller working (I think, green LED lights up now ) but now the inverter doesn't seem to be outputting any voltage (checked with a voltometer). I've been in contact with Dennis and he pretty much told me he couldn't help, and that I need to contact the manufacturer of the inverter (TDK). TDK apparently doesn't sell these any longer. Do any of you have a spare you'd sell me?

The VGA controller is from evdisplays.com, but I don't have a specific model number handy.

I have no clue if any of these components are damaged more than I've been able to detect or not, but I'd like to try replacing the inverter to see if that'll resolve it.

Otherwise, I'll start looking around for new parts. I hate the thought of replacing $340 worth of equipment, especially when I'm just screwing around with this, but even if I had any sort of warranty with it, it was my fault, so...

Looking forward to a reply,

Lycaon
