i was just in a 2004 grand prix that had this. looked pretty cool. it said the speed and temp. you can turn off the dash lights and just cruise with that on the windshield. i have no idea how to incorporate that with a computer
Some newer cars or concept cars (i don't remember where I saw/read it) have displays that project onto the actual windshield. Anyway can we work with that or something similar to project smaller screens onto a window or windshield. OR maybe night vision or rear view camera onto a portion of our windshield.
anyways, just a thought.

Have a search around, I have seen some stuff on the site about people considering this, I don't think anyone has succeeded though.
you talking about a HUD? like from a vette or grand prix? I was thinking of getting one off ebay and seeing if I can make it work in my car

i think your windshield has to have a special coating or somthing. I think i read a thread about this a while back.
I think what he's saying here is, "uh, yeah, we've thought about it"Originally Posted by Laidback

If you wonder down this topic about 5-7 threads you'll see one that shows what a HUD looks like in a car, im not sure if they built that one professionally, or if it was some guy's project. Looks pretty good though.
