My Xenarc Broke...who do I talk to to get it repair?

Well, I thought it would never happen, but that stupid connector finally broke. I had this screen for a little over 1 year so I guess warranty has expire.

So I opened it just to see what's inside? Tiny solder points were broken and I don't have the skill to do micro sodering.

Is there someone here that I can talk to to get it repaired?

Give Xenarc a call, and kick up a fuss!

Mention that you have looked at their website and you have seen that their new screens have a "new heavy duty" connector, and that they obviously wouldn't have changed it if there was no problems with the old one.

Make enough of a fuss (and threaten to tell everyone you know about the bad customer support) and they might be prepared to change the connector/board for you.

So no one here can fix it? I think I bought mines from DSCustoms last year.

I don't mind solder it myself, if only someone can provide me with bigger solder point. I can see the top traces for 12 of the 15 pins. But I can't see the underneath for the 3 pins.

What about the guys that solder their own cable to it. If you guys have diagram and material use, I can do it myself.

fine.. I know I bought it from DSCustoms. He had the lowest price during that time. $475 something like that while others were $500s.

B.O.T. any screenshots or diagrams where I can solder? I remember seeing 1 one time, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Where can I get the connector replacement? 2 of the pins broke and I can't seem to solder them back on.

Okay, I was able to resolder the connector back to the board, but the touchscreen is not working. Can someone tell me which pin/s are for the touchsreen?

The two pins that broke off (facing from the board side) on the left side. I have tried to solder copper wires onto it, but not entirely sure if the connector is good, and I'm not even sure which pins are for the touchscreen, it may be other pins that has weak contacts.

Please if anyone knows which pins are for the touchscreen (serial) please help me.
