Not sure about the white. Could be dead pixels. Mine goes all black sometimes when it switches to 800x600 or some time around when the "Windows is loading" screen should be there. It's normal AFAIK.
I run my Lilli off of the cig.adapter thing and leave it on 24/7. When the carputerboots up it comes out of sleep mode and all is fine... usually.
Every 3 or 4 boots the screen will be all black except for a few white pixels in the very top row of the screen. Simply turning it off and back on or changing the data source fixes this. Rebotting also often fixes this... but the question is why does it do this? Can I do anything to stop it?

It's not dead pixels.. they're not there when i can actually see the screen. it's funny .. if I move am seeing the scrambled image ... and have some sort of movie playing on the computer, I can see the pixels movings... almost as if the whole screen has been scrunched up into the very top row...

ah, I have seen this before. Go into the Lilli's menu and do the auto-tune/auto-adjust thing.
