how to check the PSone LCD is ok?

how to check the PSone LCD is switched on? i plugged the DC adapter into the DC-in hole but the screen didn't show anything.

also, i use the s-video> RCA + RCA> ST35 cable to connect the video card's TV-out and the PSone LCD av-in, it dont hv any image...wht's wrong with it?

When you connect up the DC pack, the screen should (just) visibly become a little darker.

You'll need to apply 5V to the power on pin to switch the backlit on.

You should check Starfox website for which pin is which. There is a little TTL circuit that I draw which have all pin needed for VGA modded.
Search for TTL circuit on this forum. Like starfox said, you need to apply 5V to pin 10 (I think) to the AV connector of the PSOne LCD to turn the backlit on.

i dont think the LCD hv little darker.

i hv done the "always on" mod, now when i plug in the dc adaptor, the screen will light up, but when i plug in the av-in cable, it also dont hv image.........
