Unfortunately Larry, the man with 500+ more posts then you here is correct. Posting the same message on more then one section of the forums is not allowed. If you had read the rules here you would know that.

However, we cannot expect everyone to read the rules, and all he was doing was letting you know in a fairly polite manner, that you don't need to be cross posting. So he was contributing something of value, you now know that cross posting is bad. Don’t do it.

Furthermore, telling a regular to "stay out of my thread" is kind of burning your bridges before you cross them. There are a lot of people here that have lots of knowledge, but if you're rude to them, they will be less inclined to help you out.

My advice, leave the attitude at home and realize that people here are not out to get you. We may be rude at times, but usually it's to make a point that the information is out there and easily available, or that you have done something that is considered poor etiquette. We do not hate you, nor are we disrespecting you. We would say the same thing to anyone else who does the same thing.

Of course, you'll probably think I'm flaming you too, but boy can dream, can't he?
