try adjusting the video adapter refresh rate try higher and lower
I've done searches and can't find any help. I have a Xenarc 700 YYV and it's running off an Advantech 9575 motherboard with built in video. The board doesnt support widescreen so I have it set at 800x600.
The best I can get with the Xenarc's Autodetect is a picture that sits in the bottom right and I lose about .5" on the left and top. Not a big deal but annoying since it's only a 7" screen to begin with!
Anyone have similar experiences or suggestions of how I can fill the screen?
Thanks a lot!

Did you try Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, Adapter, List All Modes? There might be a bunch more resolutions that your card does support. I know on my particular setup Windows only shows the very basic resolutions, but I can find all kinds of widescreen resolutions under List All Modes.
1.6GHz HP e-PC, 768MB RAM, 120GB WD HDD, Slim DVD-ROM, Onboard sound & video, 7" Lilliput, USB GPS Mouse, Audiovox FM Modulator, Vector 400 Watt Power Inverter, Windows XP Pro SP2, iGuidance 2, 15" Samsung LCD for the rear *Carputer not installed*
Thanks, I will try the refresh rate when I get home. I did look at advanced settings and my board doesn't support anything other than 4:3, the manufacturer even states that it doesn't support widescreen.
Sucks because I paid a lot for the board so that it would fit in my dash, didnt think I would have a widescreen LCD at the time.
Well I got it, the motherboard wouldnt even let me change resolutions! But I disabled the TV-out, which I don't need anymore since the monitor is connected to the VGA output, and the screen is filled! And all this time Ive been thinking that I had all I was going to get...
have you installed Power Strip and tried that? lets you make custom resolutions and other things...
