    Single din upside down (?)

I was thinking of one of those single din LCD trays to save space in the dash... Is there a way I can install it upside down so the screen comes out and drops down? Rather than flipping up?

Second, I have space below the single din but I still need room to shift my car. I was wondering what the average distance they stick out from the dash.

Hmm, you might be able to mount one upside down. The screen will have to extend the height of the screen at least before flipping up/down. About 4 inches I'd guess.
