Datasheet (top hit in google): www.hantronix.com/down/40416l4.pdf
Just today at work they were going to throw away 2 computerized cash register tops. So I yanked the LCD display. On the back it is listed as HDM40416L-4. Will this be compatible with the LCD drivers from http://www.markuszehnder.ch/projects...n/download.php ?
I got two for free so I figured what the heck, I was going to buy some anyways, but probably 2X40. Only problem they are too long for my dash so I will have to think of something
thanks, I did search and find those specs. I just wanted to makew sure the plugin would be compatible
does anyone know if the plugin really works for this model? I got the blocks to come up but when I use the plugin it does nothing. Any ideas? I was wondering if I wired it up wrong.
check by using the pin names d0-d7 enable etc
hantronix numbered backwards?
not to be rude but how will that help? Im not sure what to look for. Thanks for any help!
Because you may have the data lines wired back to front, and that would prevent it working.Originally Posted by chewy747
is there some generic program to test if I hooked it all up right? I just am not sure if the LCD Software Winamp plugins are compatible with my model.
sorry to have bothered everyone with this the problem turned out to be that I needed some i/o dll's i installed them and loaded them up and works fine now! The back light looks great!
