Do you have a mouse attached to the system in some way? I have a gyration mouse, and for some reason it interferes sometimes with the operation of the touch screen. Haven't exactly figured out why... Just a thought...
Pretty much my touchscreen will only work half the time I turn my computer on. I have no idea why, but half the time I turn it on it works perfectly and then the other half it won't work at all. The monitor always works and I know all the cables are in right. It doesn't seem to have any pattern to it either, I can have it working, turn it off and it won't work when I turn it back on then turn it off again and turn it on and it'll work fine. Does anyone have any idea what could cause or more importantly fix this problem? Thanks.

Do you have any bluetooth devices installed?
The touchscreen is powered by the USB bus and will work even when the monitor is turned off.
I don't have a mouse or any blue tooth stuff hooked up to the monitor, it's the only thing using USB and I really don't even have anything installed on the system other than the programs to get the touchscreen working... Any other ideas?
Did you install the touchscreen drivers before connecting the monitor to the computer?
Tried a different usb slot? I had problems with mine, had to reformat![]()
