I'm shopping for monitors, and I'm looking for one that will fit in a DIN slot and can be hidden. Don't need it motorized. I've seen some at digital-ww.com, but they're all Lilliput screens. I'm looking for a Xenarc. Do they make them with the housing or will I have to do it myself? I could do it myself, but every time you open up the LCD, you risk ruining a $400+ display. Much rather have it as a factory option.

My next generation Front End is right on schedule.
It will be done sometime in the next generation.
I'm a lesbian too.
I am for hire!
I just got a shipment of new 400 nit Xenarcs/Gain modules. I will start taking orders for the DWW-7VGA (http://www.digitalww.com/DWW-7VGA.htm) today. Again this indash will be made with the NEW 400 nits xenarcs. The price will be $500 shipped. Give me a few hours to update the website.
Thanks,
Armen

Princely sum of £279.330 sounds pretty nice
Quick question: Are you the only person in the world selling in-dash single-DIN touchscreen VGA monitors? Certainly seems that way!
Anyway...I noticed the specs say:
"-Supported Resolution: 640 x 480 ~ 1600 x 1200"
Forgive my ignorance, but surely that doesn't mean they'll display 1600x1200, does it? What's the max they'll actually display, in the real world? Will they do 1024x768 OK?
Also...what would shipping to Australia be on the Xenarc in-dash VGA touchscreen one? Same as for the Lilliput? (Oh, and is that insured?)
It's about 2-3 times what I wanted to pay for a screen, but the more I think about it, the more I think VGA is the only way to go.
Cheers,
- Febs (who just bought a car with a double-DIN space, so is finally getting moving on his CarPC!).
