Hmmm. I don't know. From the symptoms is sounds like the video is out of range. I know my older NEC 6.5" LCD did this when it was out of range. It would fade to a bright white. I don't have a Lilliput (have a Xenarc now) but I would guess that the lilliput would accept 800x600 @75hz or below. You're certain of the windows display settings? You can't go by what the OSD of the monitor displays. It just tries to adapt to what settings windows is set to. No drivers are needed for the monitor.

It is DEFINATELY a setting that can be changed on my M10000. In the Advanced Chipset Features area. Here's a shot of where it looks like:

that setting should be in your BIOS settings as Chairboy pointed out. Check your bios revision if it is not and update your bios as needed. I had a similar problem and setting it to LCD fixed it.
Check out my hopefully useful site...

It's still under design but it is functional

No thoughts on the network issue, but if you have the problem with the overrange/white etc again, try setting it to just CRT instead of CRT+LCD. It should be one of the available selections.

    Good luck!

Well this is embarrassing, I should have thought to ask if you had a firewall, I was the manager in charge of QA for Norton Internet Security until a few months ago.
