Lilliput with extension cables (9-pin mini-din vs. VGA)

    Hello all,

I had my Lilliput 7" touchscreen attached to my CarPC using two extension cables. One VGA extension cable, and one USB extension cable. Everything worked fine, but it seemed like an excess of cables. I ordered the 9-pin mini din extension cable off of this site, and used it to replaced the other two cables. Now I seem to be getting some ghosting (I think it's the correct term). It's basically another image on the display shifted very minutely. It almost looks like some blurriness without looking very closely. I know the simple solution would be to go back to the VGA/USB extension cables, but I was wondering if there were any other recommendations.

Also, a few days ago I brought my CarPC inside to install some software, and I attached it to my home computer's monitor. I increased the resolution from 640 x 480 to 1024 x 768. Now the resolution slider on the Display settings starts at 800 x 600. How do I get it back to 640 x 480?

Well, that's all for now. All help is greatly appreciated.

    Brian.

Do set the resolution lower than 800*600 goto display properties, click the "settings" tab, click on "advanced", click the "Adapter" tab, click on "List all modes"

    then select 640*480
