    Just checked my email. Thanks!
I'll take a look when I get home. I didnt have a chance to play with powerstrip yesterday, but should have time tonight. I'm trying to find a VGA cable. I might just give up and order one tonight.
I'll let you know how it goes...

If you want man, you can ship it to me and I'll do all the wirin' for ya. It's not that hard though, but make sure to do a good job, and solder your splices.

Tidder, what Geforce card are you using? MX440?

I think my Mx440 can not put out a c-sync.

Tidder, I'm looking at a copy of M Pro's timings. I believe he has a NTSC version (its different from Starfox and Starfox says his is PAL).
Which settings should I be testing? the refresh rates??
I changed pixel clock first and almost had a heartattack. It totally screwed up my screen. I had to reboot to reset it to defaults. It obvious these settings will not work on my CRT monitor, so how can I tell if its my monitor or video card that cant handle the settings?

Well, first off, I'm pretty sure powerstrip won't set a setting that your vid card can't handle. Next thing, can you do a custom timing like the 640x480i??

    Its a 99 Escort...
I didnt enter the custom resolution screen. I'll play around some more now that I'm convinced I wont kill my monitor. Csync and interlace were both greyed out though, so I dont know if I'll have a 640x480i setting.

I guess my problem is that I cant see the how low the refresh rates will go. After a certain point, my screen becomes scrambled, but I can hear the sound pitch continuing to change. I dont know anything about the VNC software everyone talks about, but I might have to go that route.
I ordered a VGA cable (and some other junk) from BGMicro.com yesterday. I'm gonna try to do the wiring myself.

What do these positive/negative settings under synchronization mean??

Dude, if you have another computer and you can network 'em, go with the RealVNC, that's what I used first off to set my screen res right for the PSone LCD. RealVNC is easy to use, really easy.

Oh, and I've never messed with the pos/neg sync stuff, I didn't have to. My screen just worked with the 640x480i.

Well, I looked at powerstrip and the custom resolution button is greyed out. So the Intel 810 onboard video wont be able to handle it.

Did you have a chance to look for that PCI Geforce card? Ive heard Geforce 2, 3, and 4 have csync. Does ATI make a PCI Radeon 7000? I'm gonna start looking for a new video card.

I do have an old wireless router/hub here. I think the wireless is broken, but the ports work as far as I know. I'll see if I can get them networked, and play around with realVNC. Now where is that router?...
