i think everyone here has that problem... ehh
anyone having glare problems using touch screens? I find non touch screens seem ok, but touch screens get glare from other bright objects in the vehicle, i guess its the overlay material. any suggestions? mine is permently mounted in dash board and cant be moved. maybe slightly tilted toward me, but doubt that will fix it....
ideas?
only happens when light comes thru on to passenger seat (light grey color)...
which when driving is quite a bit...

Yea, I do and most others do as well. All you can do is help limit the light getting onto the screen. So that leaves you with Tinting your windows and/or creating some sort of frame around your display to help limit the sunlight from directly getting on the screen.
I had my windows tinted recently and this has helped some. My biggest problem is having my hand in front of the shifter (I drive a stick shift). During the day there is a reflecion of my hand in the TS overlay. This is just something that sucks about TS overlays. I'm thinking of tinting my front window 50%
Let me guess what screen you have.
My Xenarc is much much better than the my mate's Lilliput in the same place, even with more sunlight coming in onto it.
Yes, there is still glare, and it is more difficult to see than a non-touch display, but the Xenarc is at least more bearable
