i use my finger and on a few times I use a pda stylist. no probs.
Just got my Xenarc 700TSV yesterday and am wondering if you guys use your fingers on it or do you use some sort of Wacom Tablet-style pen? I found that my finger doesn't work so well for precise functions like dragging icons, etc.But I also don't see myself using a pen while driving around. Any advice? Also, how hard is it to scratch up the screen, (e.g. with your fingernail)?
Thanks!

I use my fingernail for precision. Put your hand backwards and use your nail, looks funny but works great.
Suggestion, don't rely on using your touchscreen, especially when driving. Get a tactile input device that you don't have to look at to use, it'll make it a lot easier to switch songs and stuff while on the move. I use a Contour Shuttle Xpress, others here like the Griffin Powermate.

I cranked my display properties up to the biggest font it can do and yes, I use my finger quite often. But for the precision clicks I use a stylus I made for a previous incarnation that's basically a modded mechanical pencil.
I didn't want to use a PDS stylus becuase I know it'd get lost in my car.
I've been very tempted to get one of those Pen-Pencil-Stylus pens, but they usually run $7.

This is the biggest advantage to a custom frontend: huge buttons. Or, you could just doublesize Winamp.
