How about the "SP7 VGA 7" - Touchscreen"?? is it good? better then lilliputs?

Pay the money get the Xenarc. Better build quality than my Lilli. It didnt even last a month before the touchscreen went out, which seems to be a common problem amongst them. So far 3 months on the Xenarc and no problems. Plus I love the auto on too!

squigglyrulez, How are you extending the signal? I need it to extend a total of twelve feet. If springing for a Xenarc is going to save me money in the long run, that's no problem.

All of those small screens are so damn expensive and they are a bunch of crap. I'm building a carPC and i am seriously thinking of putting a desktop 15" screen instead of those tiny 7". I mean, it's the same price as the cheapo tiny screens and for the extra money you'd spend on a high quality xenarc, just buy a retared long warranty. and to mount it, if ur a smart arse fabricator, thats not a problem. for those who want touch screen, they are not hard to find for the 15"

warranty replacements... if this 3rd one doesnt work im gonna get a refund... though it has cost them mucho money on shipping from Honk Kong to Texas back and forth... seems they would WANT to send me a working one.

i emailed armen to see if he has any ideas and possibly buy a replacement 9 pin connector to vga,USB and see if that helps,,, though its the same cable i used on my old Lilli and it worked.... hell maybe they sent me a NON touchscreen Lilli on accident

Good luck with that. It's a good idea but many factors need to be noted. In my case, placement. There is no where to mount a 15" LCD in my Jeep Wrangler. But notice, those desktop LCD's have very low brightness compared to those such as sold on mp3Car

I'm using a Lilli and haven't had any problems yet. This is after removing it from it's case, performing the auto power on mod, breaking the ribbion cable connector in the LCD control board, and chopping and relocating the front panel control board. Will it still be working in a few months? Who knows...
