The A/V plug is just a standard rca to mini head phone jack. Unless you wanna spend the bucks to get one with stereo audio input.

Radio shack didnt have the cable. I was kicking myself cause I considered ordering one from BGMicro. I have a headphone to 2 rca cable like Tidder mentioned, but I wasnt sure if it would work. I'll give it a shot.

thanks for the help and patience!

Huh, that was a good idea. I should have done that before I chopped the hell out of my circuit board.

I tried the headphone to 2 RCA cable and had no luck. I wasnt sure which line was carrying the video (red or wht plug), but I tried both and neither one gave me an image.
I'm starting to think I got a bad screen...

dude, can you post a step by step solution in converting a PSONE lcd screen to interface with a carputer???

    How did you do it?

    How do you power it?

How did you get touchscreen working on it, since it does not come with it?

How does it interface with computer video?

I think your PSU is the problem here.

I have just measured the current drawn by the screen and its 0.6A at 7.8V. The PSU label say its rated at 7.5V 3.0A

TLK, check out tidder or starfox website.

    Yeah, check out http://tidder.rudyatek.com/lcd/.

Do a search on starfox, and find his website too.

As far as the touchscreen goes, digitalww has overlays. USB interface. Very nice.

Hannibal, here's the deal. If you want to pay for shipping, I'll do your PSone screen for you. I had the same problem as you on one of the screens I did. I believe it had to do with the line you guys think is the 5v. I've never hooked that up to anything.
