I know some people were asking about glare.
I found this acrylic coating called Clarex that OEM's are using for lcds. It is made by Astra Products:

They have several products that can be used in combination to reduce glare, reflection, smudges, and scratchs. I sent them an e-mail and asked for pricing/distributors and recommendations for in car usage. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything from them.

I spoke to a Xenarc engineer 3 weeks ago and I asked him about the Brightness option they offer for their monitors (extra $195 on top of monitor price).
The engineer told me that the AG coating is applied to the LCD only and NOT the touchscreen. He said the AG coating made the touchscreen unresponsive so they had to apply it to the LCD instead. He also said that since the TS does not have an AG coating, that it would still produce glare.
So, I gave up my quest for an AG coating on my 700TSV. Also, there is a huge old thread about this. Do a search and see if you could possibly resurrect it.

I just talked to Elo Touchscreen customer service and they told me the same thing. Oh, well. At least this info might be useful to those who are not using touchscreen.Originally Posted by hd54321
