EPIA M10000 LVDS + LQ9D161 will it work?

I have

'ed - there are many threads in this forum and others about the LQ9D161 with various controllers but I want to drive the display with the LVDS output of my EPIA board. I know the display is not LVDS, just TTL - I have an RGB-01 module for on it's way to me.

Has anyone had any luck with a setup like this?

No experience specific to that, but in general LVDS and TTL/CMOS are mutually exclusive - they won't work with each other..

Unless you get a converter board, such as a LVDS to RGB converter.. I believe I had started a thread or a few on one way back.

But your RGB-01 should do the trick, as far as I know.. I think that's what it's for.

I'm on the way to do the same as you. I'm wondering, what is on that RGB interface? If you got yours, could you tell me, what chips are on it?

Just two IC's - one is 14-pin with HT08 on it, at TI chip. The other is a 6-pin with 432A5 on it (very tiny, I hope I read it right). There is also a bunch of surface mount resistors, caps, a couple of transistors and jumpers and connectors.

The so called "LVDS"-connector has TTL-signals (3.3 or 5 Volt ???) - nothing todo with electrical LVDS-signals.
Real LVDS is made on the interfaces with some Chrontel chip. My PD10000 is on the way, so I'll look on the signals on the connector.

I'm wondering, if the output is activated only by bios, or are there any communications between interfaces and the EPIA-board like DDC2 for DVI-interfaces?

Another thing not clear: there are 24 pixel-signals, so gues 8 for each color.
Which one is then MSB (R7, G7 or B7)?
