    Lilliput- NO VGA SIGNAL- message.

Thats the only thing I can get my Lilliput to display in the car...

I have m10k with 1.09f bios. I had it set to whatever was default in the bios and I was getting the jurrasic park logo about 20 times aday. Unmanageable.
SO... after searching here I decided to try and change the settings in my bios to LCD. It was on CRT+TV. after doing this the screen was black and stayed that way through the whole boot.
    nothing.
    restarted.
got it to come up but it was real flickery and wavy. went into display properties and checked to see what it was on. it was 800X600 32bit, 75hz refresh.
I changed the refresh to 60hz as I read on here. the screen went black and never came back
multiple restarts and I cant even see the friggin bios loader screen or anything. just NO VGA SIGNAL message.
I brought the screen inside and it works just fine on my home comp so I know its not messed up and the settings on my home comp are 1024X768 32bit, 85hz...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I stood there for about 5 minutes contemplating whether or not I would get $250 dollars worth of pleasure from smashing it on the concrete!!!

PS I have to way of dragging a regular monitor out to the car since I only park in a community apartment parking lot.

Try booting to safe mode and changing the refresh rate back. If nothing comes up in safe mode try clearing CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard.

get a big extension cord and use your monitor, if you cant do it at home you might need to go somewhere you can. I dont see another option.

I guess I should be asking the more important question. What would cause it to do this? Why absolutely no vga at all? Even during post? I can hook it to my home comp and change resolutions and refresh rates at will and the lilli works fine. But I get nothing in the car. Does the m10k put out a really weak signal or something? What do the difference between the LCD and the CRT settings actually do anyway?

Check your 9 pin connection. It will do that if it is not connect all the way. Do you have the 9 pin that screws in or do you have the 9 pin that just pushes together? Look at the pens see if they are bent and ya might have to wiggle and push very lightly. BE CAREFUL those connections stink poo.

Edit try 16bit then change it. Mine just said over range so i tried to change it to 16 bit then it would work. Then i could set it back to 32 bit. Also do me a favor. Take it inside and put your computer to 800x600 16bit then take it out to your car and then try it again. For some reason after messing with it. I get the odd feeling the the lilliput is remembering things. Maybe its just a late night

I don't have an M10000, but I would venture a guess: try it with a composite cable.

I bought an 8in lilly it worked for a while, then it stopped after I took it out and plugged it back in. Took me abou two weeks to figure out, because I had the cable buried ín the car, I bent one pin on the barrel connector...
Hope you find your problem. Good luck..
