    xenarc touchscreen faulty

    wassup guys, first off i just wanna say im glad to join this great community. Ive been reading for maybe over 6 months now and just now posting due to the fact that i didnt own a screen until now. ive just purchased a xenarc 700tsv and it was working great for 10 mins or so until the touch screen goes out. this would happen continueously, and on diff computers at that.i've searched on threads and found that one user had tape covering his vents. well my unit has nothing done to it, it even has the plastic layer still on the front screen. ive only had it for less then a week nowand cant seem to figure it out. anything would be of great help, thanks

    It is. You must be the second guy or something like this to have problems a Xenarc. Here's a review of the Xenarc. It seems they've encountered a problem with the USB cable of the touch screen. Maybe you're in luck, and the same happened to you. If not, just send it back. It's still in warranty, right?

    minedid that and now doesnt work at all. On way back to DigitalWW for another one

    well i decided to send mines in, i got my #rma number the other day. So should i send in just the screen? or the cables as well?

    Why don't you ask Xenarc, or whoever you're sending the bad unit to. Every company's RMA policy is different.
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

    good thinkin, imma email them right now. anyone deal with xenarc before? curious about the turnaround time.
